Samsung India has launched its 2026 Bespoke AI appliance lineup, extending artificial-intelligence features across refrigeration, air conditioning and laundry products sold in the Indian market.
The lineup, announced Sept. 16 at “The Brief Gurugram,” includes a Family Hub refrigerator with AI Vision built with Google Gemini, a Bespoke AI WindFree Pro air conditioner and an Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC with WindFree, according to Samsung Newsroom India.
Family Hub Adds Gemini-Supported AI Vision
Samsung said the 32-inch Family Hub refrigerator uses AI Vision and AI Food Manager to recognize food items, suggest recipes and help manage use-by dates. The company also described localized Family Care and Pet Care features that work through SmartThings.
The Family Hub is priced at INR 400,690. Samsung said Google Gemini availability, supported functions and accuracy can vary by country, language, device model and operating-system version.
AI Features Move Beyond the Kitchen
The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro air conditioner includes AI-enabled controls and PM1.0 purification, with a listed price of INR 69,990. The Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC is available in 3.6 kW, 5.2 kW and 7.1 kW cooling capacities, launching at a starting price of INR 160,000 through authorized channel partners.
Samsung is also using SmartThings as the connective layer across categories. The company said the 2026 range uses AI Home screens, Bixby voice assistance, Knox security and SmartThings connectivity to manage appliances and automate routines.
Software Support Becomes Part of the Pitch
One notable ownership claim is software support. Samsung said its SmartThings software update service offers seven years of updates. For connected appliances, that kind of promise increasingly matters because the product experience depends on apps, security support and cloud-connected services long after installation.
The launch is India-specific, and U.S. availability was not part of the announcement. Still, the feature mix shows where Samsung is placing its smart-appliance emphasis: food recognition, household monitoring, energy management, voice personalization and remote diagnostics.
