LANCHEZ Pressure Washers Recalled Over Shock and Electrocution Hazard

LANCHEZ is recalling 329 electric pressure washers sold online because the units lack an integral ground-fault circuit-interrupter, or GFCI, and have a power cord that the Consumer Product Safety Commission said is not long enough for safe use.

The Sept. 17 CPSC recall notice says the defect can create a serious risk of shock or electrocution. The agency said it is aware of one report of a missing GFCI and no reported injuries.

Model and Sales Details

The recall involves LANCHEZ-branded 3.2 GPM electric pressure washers sold in blue-and-black or red-and-black. The affected products measure about 12.2 inches deep, 16.9 inches wide and 16.5 inches high and came with a 500 ml soap tank, four quick-disconnect nozzles and a 23-foot hose.

“LANCHEZ” is printed on the front of the unit. Model number KLC-BULL135C is printed on a label on top of the pressure washer near the handle. Only units without a GFCI or adequate-length cord are included.

The products were sold through Amazon.com and Walmart.com from February 2026 through June 2026 for $88 to $266, according to CPSC. Ningbo Lanchez E-Commerce Co. Ltd. of China is listed as the importer.

Refund Requires Destroying the Unit

Consumers should stop using the recalled pressure washers immediately and contact LANCHEZ for a full refund. CPSC said consumers will be asked to unplug the washer, cut the power cord in half, photograph the destroyed unit with the model number visible and send the image to [email protected].

The recall is a reminder for retailers and online marketplaces that outdoor electrical products carry specific safety requirements because they are commonly used around water. Pressure washer listings should be checked for recall status before resale or fulfillment.
