Galanz Retro Refrigerators

• Models: BCD-215V-62H, GLR76TRDER, GLR76TBKER, GLR76TBEER and GLR76TWEER with specified date codes
• Recall date: July 30, 2026
• Units affected: About 121,680
• Hazard: Fire and burns
• Remedy: Free in-home repair

Galanz Americas recalled certain Retro refrigerators because internal electrical components can short circuit and ignite. The CPSC reported 34 refrigerator fires associated with the affected products and one death.

Affected models have specified date codes from December 2018 through December 2020. The refrigerators were sold at Home Depot stores nationwide and online through Amazon from January 2019 through September 2022.

Consumers with an affected refrigerator should unplug it and contact Galanz to arrange a free in-home repair.

Panasonic NB-G200 Electric Toaster Ovens

• Model: NB-G200
• Recall date: July 16, 2026
• Units affected: About 11,480 in the United States
• Hazard: Electric shock and fire
• Remedy: Refund

Panasonic recalled model NB-G200 electric toaster ovens because the power cord insulation can be inadequately protected by its fiberglass sleeve, creating shock and fire hazards.

Panasonic received four reports of tripped circuit breakers or outlets and one report that a toaster oven stopped working. No fires or injuries had been reported when the recall was announced. Consumers should stop using the recalled toaster ovens and contact Panasonic for a full refund.

Insignia Gas Ranges

• Models: NS-RGFGSS1 and NS-RGFCGS2
• Recall date: July 9, 2026
• Units affected: About 3,820 in the United States
• Hazard: Fire
• Remedy: Free compatible knob covers

Best Buy recalled certain Insignia front-control gas ranges because the front-mounted control knobs can be accidentally activated by people or pets, creating a fire hazard. Best Buy received one report of knobs being activated through accidental contact. No injuries had been reported.

Consumers should stop using the recalled oven and contact Best Buy to receive a free set of compatible knob covers. The CPSC also advises owners to keep children and pets away from the controls and verify that the knobs are off before leaving home or going to bed.

Rowenta X-Force Flex Cordless Vacuum Batteries

• Models: RH99A2U1 and RH99F2U1 with affected ZR0097U2 batteries
• Recall date: July 2, 2026
• Units affected: About 3,660
• Hazard: Fire and burns
• Remedy: Free replacement battery

Certain lithium-ion batteries used with Rowenta X-Force Flex cordless vacuums were recalled because the batteries can overheat and ignite. The affected ZR0097U2 batteries have date codes beginning with 23 or 24.

Consumers should stop using the vacuum, remove the recalled battery and register with Rowenta for a free replacement. Recalled lithium-ion batteries require special disposal and should not be placed in household trash or ordinary recycling.

Kidisle Coffeemakers

• Model: KC101B
• Recall date: June 11, 2026
• Units affected: About 17,600
• Hazard: Burns
• Remedy: Refund

Kidisle recalled model KC101B hot-and-iced coffeemakers because they can become clogged, allowing pressure from hot liquid or steam to build and release unexpectedly.

The CPSC was aware of at least 107 reports of hot liquid or steam being released unexpectedly and at least 27 reported injuries, including first- and second-degree burns requiring medical treatment. The coffeemakers were sold online through Amazon, Walmart and eBay from June 2024 through April 2026. Consumers should stop using them and follow Kidisle’s instructions to obtain a full refund.

Fisher & Paykel Professional Gas Ranges

• Products: Certain 30-, 36- and 48-inch RGV3 professional gas ranges
• Recall date: April 16, 2026
• Units affected: About 433 in the United States
• Hazard: Burns
• Remedy: Free inspection and repair

Fisher & Paykel recalled the ranges because delayed oven ignition can allow gas to accumulate before combustion, creating a burn hazard. The company received 18 reports involving delayed ignition and one report of a minor burn injury.

Consumers should stop using the oven in an affected range and contact Fisher & Paykel for a free inspection and repair. The cooktop burners can continue to be used.

Frigidaire Gas Ranges

• Products: Certain Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery and Frigidaire Professional gas ranges
• Serial-number range: VF52200000 through VF54399999 for specified models
• Recall date: March 19, 2026
• Units affected: About 174,800 in the United States
• Hazard: Burns
• Remedy: Free in-home repair

Electrolux Group recalled the ranges because delayed ignition of the oven’s bake burner can create a burn hazard. Electrolux Group and the CPSC were aware of 62 reports of delayed bake-burner ignition, including 30 reported burn injuries.

Consumers should stop using the oven until it is repaired. The cooktop burners can continue to be used. Electrolux is providing professional in-home installation of a replacement bake burner at no cost to consumers.

Aroeve MK04 Air Purifiers

• Model: MK04, affected units manufactured before July 2025 with serial numbers beginning BN
• Recall date: February 9, 2026
• Units affected: About 191,390
• Hazard: Fire and burns
• Remedy: Free replacement

Airova recalled certain Aroeve model MK04 air purifiers because they can overheat and ignite. The recall followed 37 reports of overheating, including one fire. No injuries or property damage had been reported when the recall was announced.

Consumers should stop using affected units and contact Airova for a free replacement.

Frigidaire-Brand Minifridges

• Model: EFMIS121 with specified serial numbers
• Recall date: January 15, 2026
• Units affected in expanded recall: About 330,000
• Hazard: Fire and burns
• Remedy: Refund

Curtis International expanded an earlier recall of Frigidaire-brand minifridges to include additional model EFMIS121 refrigerators with specified serial numbers. The minifridges’ internal electrical components can short circuit and ignite the surrounding plastic housing, creating fire and burn hazards.

The January 2026 action added about 330,000 minifridges to a July 2024 recall that had covered approximately 634,000 units. Owners should check the complete serial number to determine whether a particular EFMIS121 refrigerator is included and follow the recall instructions for a refund.

What Counts as a 2026 Appliance Recall?

ApplianceNews organizes recalls according to the date the recall was publicly announced, rather than the year contained in the CPSC recall number.

That distinction matters because CPSC recall numbers follow the federal government’s fiscal year. A recall carrying a “26” recall number therefore does not necessarily mean it was announced during calendar year 2026.

This tracker primarily covers major home appliances, countertop appliances, floor-care products and air-care appliances that fall within ApplianceNews’ editorial coverage. Cookware, consumer electronics and unrelated household products are not included.

What to Do If Your Appliance Is Recalled

• Verify the product: Check the complete model and serial number against the manufacturer’s or CPSC’s official recall notice.
• Follow stop-use instructions: Do not assume every appliance in a product family is affected, and follow any directions covering continued use.
• Use the official remedy: Depending on the recall, this may be an in-home repair, replacement part, replacement product or refund.
• Handle hazardous products carefully: Follow specific disposal and safety instructions for gas appliances, refrigerators, lithium-ion batteries and other potentially hazardous products.

Do not improvise a repair unless the manufacturer specifically directs consumers to do so.
