Bosch has unveiled what it describes as the world’s first built-in robot vacuum cleaner, debuting the product at EuroCucina in Milan.
The model, BCRI3BX1, measures 84 millimeters in height and delivers up to 20,000 pascals of suction power. Bosch said the unit is designed for full integration into kitchen cabinetry, with connections to water supply, drainage and electrical systems.
Product details
The system incorporates technology developed in partnership with Ecovacs, including dual rotating mop pads for wet cleaning, an extendable side brush and a sensor suite for navigation and obstacle detection.
The built-in Service Station is housed entirely within cabinetry and consists of two horizontal modules. Bosch said the design allows the system to remain concealed while maintaining full functionality.
The unit connects directly to household water and drainage lines, eliminating the need for manual refilling or emptying of water tanks. Bosch said continuous access to fresh water is intended to support consistent cleaning performance.
Water management and safety
According to Bosch, wastewater from the cleaning process is automatically discharged into the home’s drainage system. The company said integrated sensors monitor for leaks and will shut off the water supply if a fault is detected, reducing the risk of kitchen water damage.
Partnership background
The launch follows a previously announced partnership between BSH Home Appliances Group and Ecovacs Robotics. In September 2025, the companies said they would collaborate globally on the development of robotic floor-cleaning technologies.
At the time, the companies said the partnership was intended to expand product capabilities, strengthen market positioning and accelerate innovation in smart home cleaning solutions.
